For the 2019 Curlfest experience, we sought out to strengthen our relationship with the AfAm Community by continuing to building awareness around Target’s Multicultural beauty category.
Pulling from 2018’s understanding of their interests, cultural nuances, and hair care routines, we go from ‘we SEE you’ to ‘we INCLUDE you’ by showcasing a variety of product both created for, and made by people of color. Throughout the space, Target brands were highlighted in contemporary, modern ways with brief vignettes championing the founders behind them.
Guests left inspired and with the understanding that Target actively supports black beauty - from the variety of products they carry to the entrepreneurs they propel to the forefront.
